When is tuition due?
Tuition is due by the 25th day of each month from August through May and will be applied to the upcoming month classes. A payment box is in the lobby, please remember to write your child's name and class time on the check. Ex: Tuition for October was due September 25. A late fee will be charged for tuition that is received after the 1st of the month.

May I "sit in" and watch my child's class?
Only "dancers" are permitted in the dance room during class. We prefer that you enjoy "your" time to yourself, please let your child have the experience of learning what I teach each week and let her/him show you at a later time. Though you may have enjoyment watching your child dance and seeing your child learn new things each week, it is disruptive to other students and/or possibly your child. I have had parents and children comment about the audience of "people" watching. Many students feel uncomfortable having an audience when they are trying to learn. This is very understandable on their part.

If my child misses a class is there a refund or a make up class?
Class prices are based monthly, therefore there are no refunds. However, your child is welcome to make up a class missed, providing there is another class offered, and you schedule the "make-up" in advance. There are many combination classes offered, however due to limited scheduling and conflicts only a few "older age classes" are offered.

Will dance classes be held when the public schools are closed?
Please see the attached schedule, the majority of public school holidays will be observed. Please see schedule under Policies.

Will there be a dance recital?
YES, The dance recital is scheduled. SAVE THE DATE…..click here for details. More specifics will be given closer to the date. The recital will be held at Loudoun Valley High School. Hopefully this date will be adequate for all involved, before "final exams", graduations, vacations after preschool schedules etc. The rental of space in this area is very limited and costly. If you know at this time that your child will not be able to participate due to other schedule conflicts let me know as soon as you are able.

When do I order a costume and when are the fees due?
Dance recital costumes are ordered the previous December. The costume deposit fee will be due by December 1. The majority of dance costumes average $45.00-$70.00. You will be required to pay a costume fee by the December 1. There is a "small" chance costumes can be ordered after January, but may be a "rush fee" added.. Your May tuition payment will cover any additional recital fees along with the remainder classes and rehearsal for the year.
